English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teaching has, similarly to all other subjects, gone through digital transformation that was accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Quarantines and subsequent distance learning led new paths of languages opened up chances facilitate language learning. This web-based survey, conducted among Austrian secondary school students, aimed identify methods tools used EFL classroom, predictors for students’ skills can be utilized future. The following key results were observed: classes during year 2021/2022 offered wide variety students worked with improved in. Furthermore, analysis showed significantly influence predict improvement skills. Finally, multiple working devices classroom could extrapolated from survey.
